ABOUT CCIA

The California Chief Investigators Association was established in 2021.  The purpose of the Association shall be to promote and advance the science and art of bureau of investigation administration and investigative excellence in the support of criminal prosecution, to develop and disseminate professional administrative practices, and to promote their use in district attorney investigations; to foster investigative cooperation and the exchange of information and experience throughout the State; to encourage the adherence of all investigators and inspectors to high professional standards of conduct in strict compliance with the Law Enforcement Officers’ Code of Ethics.
